Obituary of David May
Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James David May, better known as David, passed away Wednesday, August 25th, 2021. David is preceded in death by his father, James May. Left to cherish David’s memory are his wife of 32 years, Sandi; mother, Mary Helen May; brothers, Eugene May and wife Sandy, and Michael May; sisters, Mary Jane Sapp and husband Butch, Kathryn Mote and husband Johnny, and Susan Richard and husband James; sons, Nick May and wife Marlynda, Nolan May, and James Davy May; daughter, Melanie K. May; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.
David was a wonderful husband, father, and provider for his family. There were many things to be proud of in his life, but at the top of that list were his children. He loved them all very much. David was a man with a big heart and a giving soul. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need. For many years David ran his own security business successfully. He was devoted to his work and was known as a workaholic by some. David loved being outside in nature. Whether it was hunting, fishing, scuba diving, or even working on his property in New Braunfels, he preferred to be outdoors. He especially loved to feed his “pet” deer whenever he could. When he wasn’t working, or spending time outside David loved to go to casinos to play his favorite Wheel of Fortune slot machines. David’s caring heart and love of adventure will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
