Donovan C Moser, age 51, of La Porte, TX passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Hospitalized and awaiting a transfer for a non-Covid related lung disease, and even though fully vaccinated, he contracted Covid-19. Born on November 27, 1969 in Waco, TX, he was the second oldest of Jimmie and Edith Moser’s eight children. He spent his early years in Denison, TX and attended high school there. Straight out of high school, he joined the Navy. After returning to Denison and with prospects of a job proving difficult, he signed up with the Army. Donovan always loved all things related to technology. For many years, he operated his own computer business and moved to the Houston area because it provided a larger market. His customers depended on him for his networking knowledge and the bargains he could find when purchasing new equipment. These past four years he worked as the IT director at Force Corporation. He married his beautiful wife, Idalia Garza Moser on November 18, 2017. She was the love of his life. With her, he enjoyed discovering new places to eat, taking her dancing and having someone with who to share his life. They had many home projects in progress and he was looking forward to spending many years with her. Donovan’s father, Jimmie Lavern Moser, who was a veteran, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Idalia; his mother Edith Moser, Denison; and his seven siblings and their families. A private viewing was held on Thursday, Aug 19th under the direction of Clayton Funeral Home, La Porte.
