Larry Willis was one of my best friends in Christ. He was a true brother and would not leave the church house until he hugged your neck. He was five years older than me and always wanted to know how I was doing in my walk with the Lord. I’ve been so blessed to call him my friend for the last 45 years. As everyone else knows he was absolutely the best Santa on the planet, we would see him every year at Shell Federal Credit Union and it always made Christmas special as he shared the love of Christ. Until we meet again my friend we love you and your family. Thanks for the memories from The Kenney’s

Larry was one of a kind. The best of the best. I grew up with him in church and have know him all my life. You were never around Larry without laughter or leave from spending time with him without a smile on your face. I loved Larry like a brother. Enjoyed talking and texting about current events and how to fix this world that is quickly going down hill with prayer and standing up for what we believe. Larry, you don’t have to worry about that anymore. You are rejoicing with our savior and laughing with family and friends you have missed. I’ll always remember your laughter, that twinkle in your eye when you were about to play a joke on someone and that beautiful voice. I got to hear it one more time recently when we were at gravesite for our Sis. Grant. We were singing a hymn and you were standing right next to me so I got to hear you singing right in my ear. I cherish that. You gave the best hugs and occasional kiss on check if you hadn’t see someone in a while. You were a good son to your mother. She always told me how you visited her on a regular basis. That meant the world to her. Does Santa go to heaven you ask? Yes, he does because he loved the Lord with everything in him and brought the message of Christ birth to children everywhere. With the Christmas season coming up there will be a silent void without our Santa. I don’t know if you really knew how much you were loved but you were. You will be missed so much. Behave yourself till we all see you again in heaven.❤️
