Obituary of Jasen Robert Crenshaw
Please share a memory of Jasen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jasen Robert Crenshaw, 37, was born August 28, 1984, in Pasadena, Texas to parents Howard and Kathleen Crenshaw, and passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Jason grew up in Deer Park along with his twin, Stephen and sister, Elizabeth where he had many friends and found his love for soccer at the age of 4. He played for East Belt Soccer, Division 1 for Alliance and the Klein Classics. Jason graduated from Deer Park High School where he earned a soccer scholarship to attend St. Gregory University in Oklahoma.
Jasen had a love for life and a love for people. This brought him to find his passion working in the hospitality industry where he was valued by many for his hard work ethic. In 2017 Jason moved from Deer Park to Fort Worth.
From a young age Jasen loved sports and was a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys although he still loved his Houston teams including the Astros and Dynamo. Jason also loved fishing, camping, the beach, and just being outdoors. However, his true love was singing Karaoke with family and friends or with anybody at the bar who would listen! Jasen found solace in his alone time where he would often write poetry. Jasen never met a stranger and was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Jasen is survived by his parents Howard & Kathleen Crenshaw; maternal grandmother Helen McElroy; sister Elizabeth Helen Aga; twin brother Stephen Ray Crenshaw; nephew Kade Austen Aga; nieces Allison Nicole Aga (Ally), Chloe Michelle Crenshaw, Sarah Renee Crenshaw, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Howard Sr & Bette Crenshaw and Billie Crenshaw; maternal grandfather Bernie McElroy; uncle Greg McElroy; and best childhood friend and soccer teammate Clay Franks.
