Obituary of Lee Thomas Gilbert

Lee Thomas Gilbert, 58, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Harry Gilbert. Left to cherish Lee’s memory are his mother Lillian Gilbert; son Tony Gilbert and wife, Jessica; daughter Rebecca Armendariz and husband, Noe; brothers Bill Gilbert, David Gilbert; grandchildren Alden Gilbert, Julia Gilbert, and a host of other dear family and friends. Lee was a loving father and grandfather who was always there for his children and grandchildren. He was affectionately known as “Grandpa”. Lee loved to go fishing and play darts. He was also an avid reader and loved to listen to audio books. In high school Lee played the baritone saxophone and was in a jazz band. He had a continued love for jazz music throughout his life. He had a sweet tooth and absolutely loved Skittles and Runts. Lee will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
