Obituary of Luis Enrique Medina

Luis Enrique Medina, 49, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Luis Alonzo Machado. Left to cherish Luis’ memory are his mother Esther Medina; loving wife, of 15 years, Amber Medina; son Zachary Smith; daughter Zoe Medina; brothers Rigoberto Medina and wife, Danyelle, Christopher Arias, and a host of many other family and friends. Luis loved his family and adored his wife. He was very much a family man. Luis was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved the Lord and served him fervently. Luis had a servant’s heart. He was extremely involved in his church and his community. Luis would do anything for anyone; he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his own back. He was always going out of his way to help someone. Luis was truly an angel walking among us. He never met a stranger, and everywhere he went he knew someone, even in China. Luis had his hands in everything from education, robotics, photography, plumbing, cooking, and everything in between. He was the kind of guy that if he did not know how to do something to help someone, he would figure it out. Luis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
