It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to my cousin Ralph. It seems as though Ralph has been a part of the family almost as far back as I can remember. He always showed up with his “black doctors bag” willing to provide help and assistance in any situation. How special is it to have your own personal family doctor? There have been times that I don’t know how I would have made through without Ralph’s support. Surely, Ralph could teach a class to interns on how to present the proper “bedside manner.”
Ralph was a kind, loving and companionate man who believed in pursuing his dreams.
Ralph, we will miss you immensely and there will be an unfillable void left in our family.
Aunt Ollie Belle, Pat, Wayne & Sully

My sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Watson family. Thank you Dee for sharing him and his talented musical skills with us at Saint Philip. My best memory is of Ralph singing one of my favorite songs at Christmas Mass at SPN, “Ava Maria”. You will always be in my prayers Vernell Wiltz

Dear Demetria, family & friends of Dr. Watson, It is with much sadness that I say my tearful goodbyes to Dr. Watson. He was my research supervisor, my office mate and most importantly my friend. He stood for honesty, dignity, respect and he valued my opinions. I know he now joins the Heavenly Choirs of Angels. Rest in Peace Dr. Watson. Mary Donohue, RN

My condolences to Dr. Watson's family and friends. He was one of the best mentors I had as a resident and I even had the honor of briefly taking over his hypertension clinic when he went on sabbatical. He assured me I could do it, informed me of hard-to-treat patients and never failed to set an example. He was kind, his feedback was always constructive and it took becoming an attending for me to understand some of his messages. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and wish I had taken the opportunity to more completely thank him for helping me with my career. May he rest in peace. Kelly Morgan
