Obituary of Jessie A. Lopez

Jessie Almaguer Lopez, 97, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Vicente Lopez; mother Ana Maria Almaguer; loving wife of 77 years, Carmen Lopez; son Raymond Lopez; two brothers; and five sisters. Left to cherish Jessie’s memory are his sons Richard Lopez (Linda), Pat Lopez (Debbie); daughters Lupe Almendarez, Jessica Turner (Tom), Ramona Debra Lopez, Teri Lopez; grandchildren, Patricia Billiot, Monica Almendarez, Steven Lopez, Kristen Craddock, Alexandria Lopez, and Jessica Marlar; great grandchildren Jennifer Christiansen, Nicole Garcia, Samantha Billiot, Morgan Almendarez, Ariana Lopez, Ryan Lopez, Adaleigh Lopez, Emma Hurt, Jessica Craddock, Jackie Mae Marlar; great-great grandchildren Beckett Christiansen, Nathaniel Garcia, and a host of other family and dear friends. Jessie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He was a wonderful example to his children and was an excellent provider for his family. Jessie traveled extensively with his job at Houston Aviation and was able to see the world. In his spare time, Jessie loved spending time outdoors. Jessie will be greatly missed and remembered by those who loved him most for his great love of his family and perseverance throughout his life. Services for Jessie will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Th e funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, in Alvin, Texas.
