Obituary of Corazon Austero

Corazon Austero, 79, passed away Thursday, December 9th. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leoncio and Paz Escalderon, one brother, and two sisters. Left to cherish Corazon’s memory are her husband of 60 years, Augusto Austero; sons, Samuel Austero (Malla), Noel Austero, Augusto Austero Jr. (Teresa), Paul Austero (Vilma), Pocholo Austero; daughters, Susana Terrolba (Arnold), Elizabeth Camerongan (John Gary), Helen Pajarillaga (Rexie); two sisters, and a host of many other family and friends. Corazon was a wonderful, selfless, and devoted, mother, sister, and wife. From a young age she would take care of her brothers and sisters, always placing others before herself. Corazon was a role model for her family and continued to set the example of how to be a loving and caring mother throughout her life. Her warm and compassionate heart will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. A funeral service will be held for Corazon at Clayton funeral home (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Tx, 77581) on December 13th, 2021. Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 pm, with the service beginning at 6 pm.
