David Lee Maloney, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He is preceded in death by his mother Nancy (VanHoosen) Martin; Left to cherish David’s memory is his father, Ronald Maloney (Barbara) of Leesburg, FL: his children Jeremy Maloney of De Pere, WI and Aliesha Mortier (Derrick) of Green Bay, WI; sister Theresa (Terri) Ward (Evan) of Ventura, CA, Daniel Maloney of Green Bay, WI, Gina Steimke of Jacksonville, FL. Grandchildren Kylie, Dalton, Jasmine, Justin, Zackery, Andrew and Alivia; Great-grandchildren Vayda, Anastasia and Nova. He also leaves behind his loving friend Otilia Howard and her family. David was raised in Suamico and the Green Bay, WI area and was a graduate of Bay Port High School, class of 1975. David was a volunteer EMT with the Village of Howard and enlisted in the Navy in 1975 and served until 1981 as an Aviation Boatswains Mate Handler. After his service, David attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, WI where he achieved his degree in Architectural and Industrial Design and worked for over 30 years in the field as a Sr. Piping Designer. David was known for his kind and generous nature, spending time with friends and family and enjoyed numerous types of hobbies: cooking- making jerky, at home brewing, doing technical repairs and most of all flying Cessnas after he obtained his private pilot’s license. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with friends. Having been raised in the Green Bay area, he was still a big fan of the Green Bay Packers. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 5 to 7 pm at the VFW Post 7109 Pearland. It is located at 4202 W. Walnut St. Pearland TX 77581 for all friends who wish to stop by briefly to pay their respects.
