What other wonderful things can I say about Mrs. Langston that haven't already been said? She left a indelible impression on me as both a student and a woman. How lucky were we to have a lively, smart woman get us excited about math?! I can still hear her sing-songy about PEDMAS or fractions to this day. And as much as she pushed us all to be better at math, she also encouraged us to be better people. We were wild, stupid teenagers and yet, Mrs. Langston knew how to reach us. Thank you to the Langston family for supporting Sue through her teaching career. May her impact live on!

My family is sorry for your loss we send our condolences to Ms. Langston’s family. Ms. Langston taught my two children algebra at Trinity. But, she didn’t just teach she reached out to both children and me repeatedly even long after my kids graduated. She talked about her grandchildren with abundant pride. She wanted to bring them to our ranch to see the horses. Ms. Langston had a bottomless well of love and caring inside of her that she freely gave to everyone she met. I admired her.

I was at Trinity from 1984-1993. There were a lot of teachers that I have forgotten, but I could never forget Mrs. Langston. She was instrumental in shaping me into the person that I am today, and my heart grieves for Marvin and the family. Heaven has acquired another beautiful angel!

Sue was a good friend and a fantastic teacher. I loved working with her for 20 years and was so happy she taught my daughter. She had a kind word for all of her students and took great joy in their success. I know there is a big hole in your heart and I pray for you all to find peace

I had the honor to be one of Mrs. Langston’s students at Trinity many years ago. Her kindness and warmth coupled with her joy of teaching was a highlight of my middle school experience. I am deeply sorry for your loss, and know that her memory will be a blessing to all those who were touched by her beautiful nature.
