Obituary of Dennis Driver

Dennis F. Driver, age 43 of Pearland, passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2009. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Driver. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Anderson; mother, Norma Driver-Wehrle & her husband John; brother, Steven Driver & his wife, Lisa; nieces, Samantha & Megan Driver; mother/father-in-law Sharon & Dave Allen and a host of many other family & friends. Dennis was born on July 19, 1965 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from Paul Hardy High School then attended the University of Connecticut receiving his Bachelor of Physical Therapy. He then continued his education and obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine. Dennis followed all sports especially basketball and baseball. The Cincinnati Reds and IU basketball were among his favorite teams. He enjoyed all types of music and liked to hear live bands. Julie and Dennis considered themselves unofficial groupies of the Ian Moore Band. He was an animal lover and adored his beloved dog. Dennis was a man of great stature, good hearted, and kind to all those he encountered in life. He will be fondly missed and greatly remembered by all those who knew and loved him. Visitation for Dennis will be on Friday, June 12, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 11:00 am. Pastor Keith Anderson of New Harvest Christian Fellowship will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dennis’s name to your local SPCA.
