Erik Joshua Eskine, 29, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Ernie and Darla Eskine; grandmothers Mildred Eskine and Lori Gunn; brothers Matthew Eskine, Ben Wetzel, Adam Wetzel; sister Kathy Eberhart; beloved dog Oreo, and a host of many other family and friends.
Erik dearly loved his family and was a good friend to everyone he knew. He was one who usually preferred to be at home, but he loved nature, especially trips to Alaska, New York, Colorado and many other wonderful places. Erik was always supportive and extremely proud of his family and friend’s successes and he cherished his nieces and nephews. He helped many friends who were getting back on their feet, and he was always just a phone call away. Erik was a video gamer and met many friends online who loved him. In high school Erik played Lacrosse at Friendswood High School. Erik loved his dog as his own child and is a huge part of his life. He enjoyed sports and loved watching the Houston teams with his father. Erik will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to JDRF or the charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life service for Erik will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas.
