Please share a memory of Raymond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Raymond Lee Bruner, 31, passed away Friday, April1, 2022. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Jesse, Donna and Denise Bruner; loving wife, of 12 years, Mayra Bruner; grandparents, Wanda Miller, Tim and Joyce Bruner, Joyce Bergquist and Gary Bjorgumo; brothers Dustin Nelson, Steven Bruner, Zane Bruner and wife, Heather, Colton Bruner; sisters Melanie Burk and husband, Mario, Ashley Bruner, Abigayle Krone, Kirsten Krone; his beloved dogs Paris and Chappie, and a host of many other family and friends. Ray was a dedicated husband, wonderful provider, and great friend. Although Ray was a native Texan, and chose to live his life in Texas, he grew up in Minnesota surrounded by a big family. As the 4th of 9 children, he was known as the peace holder among his siblings. After returning to Texas, Ray met the love of his life, Mayra, while working at Lenny’s sub shop in Pearland, Texas. At 19 years old, Ray moved on to a career in construction, before finding his calling in car sales and finance. Ray prospered in his new career and made a great number of friendships, connections, and relationships. Most importantly, it allowed him to help those in need. Helping a family find the car they needed to live their everyday lives gave Ray great satisfaction. Ray was always looking to help others and putting those in need before himself. Ray had a larger-than-life personality that left a mark on everyone he encountered. He enjoyed telling grandiose stories and was always ready with a joke. Ray enjoyed many hobbies, including going to museums, art exhibits, concerts, sporting events, cooking, wood crafting, toy car modeling and collecting baseball cards. He didn’t have much free time, but what free time he did have was spent with his wife, dogs, family and close friends whom he cherished and loved so dearly. Services for Raymond will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow at Alvin Confederate Cemetery, in Alvin, Texas.
