He had valiantly fought cancer for 7 years with the support of his wife and family. He is preceded in death by his parents Bazzle “Cotton” Wright and Nina Mae Wright; daughter Crystal Gail Wright. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, of 40 years, Patti Wright; daughter Teresa Phillips and husband, Clayton, son Chris Lynch and wife, Sheri; daughter Stephanie Bell and husband, Brian; son David Wright Jr and wife, Jody; son Shane Wright and wife, Mandy; son Dustin Wright and wife, Lindsay; brother Larry Wright and wife, Mary; sister Margaret Wright; sister Gail Muscarello and husband, Mark; sixteen grandchildren, and a host of many other dear family and friends. David had a passion for the outdoors. His favorite activities were golfing, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family. He loved taking trips with his wife and family whenever they were able. David supported the NASA Mission for Human Space Exploration for over 23 years and loved his career and the friends he made along the way. We will never forget his sense of humor, strength, gentleness, stubbornness, and generosity. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His smile, his laugh, his love, and his mighty presence will be missed by all.
