Obituary of Jessie Doris Castro

Jessie Doris Castro, 84, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 6^th, 2022. Jessie is preceded in her death by her parents Agatho Castro and Tranquilina Olvera-Castro; brothers, Agatho Castro Jr., Martin Castro, Gene Joe Castro, Abraham Castro, Lionel Castro and William Castro; and sisters, Antonette Wren, Lillian Warren, Agatha Dorothea Gandara,Virginia Jean Garcia and Josephine Romo. Left to cherish Jessie’s memory are sister-in-law Alice Castro and brother-in-law Ramon Garcia, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Jessie inspired everyone to be their best and was a most giving person. She was able to help many people throughout her life. Jessie enjoyed spending time baking and crocheting for friends and family. She leaves behind lasting memories of her generous heart and caring influence. Jessie was loved and treasured by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held for Jessie at Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581) on Tuesday, September 13^th, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, with the Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Jessie’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church (2209 Old Alvin rd., Pearland, Texas 77581) on Wednesday, September 14^th, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the Mass at SouthPark cemetery, in Pearland, Texas.
