Obituary of Caleb Matthew Lau

Please share a memory of Caleb to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness, from the Lau Family, to announce that Caleb Matthew Lau passed away on Tuesday September 6th, 2022, at the age of twenty-one.

Caleb was born in Houston on March 30th, 2001, to parents Matthew and Amanda Lau of Shoreacres, Texas.

Caleb was a proud Aggie, as a senior at Texas A&M Galveston, where he studied Maritime Engineering Technology.  He was a bright, talented, unique, caring, compassionate, and loving young man who touched the lives of everyone he met.  He had a deep passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, music, fitness, and general mechanics.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends doing these activities he loved.

Caleb’s family is blessed to have shared his beauty with the World, however short a time it was on this earth. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him as joins our Heavenly Father.

Caleb is preceded in death by his grandparents; Charles Lau, Deborah Lau, Lenard Dreymala, and David Cole.

Caleb is survived by his parents Matthew and Amanda Lau, siblings Chloe, Zachary, and Julia Lau, Grandparents Kathryn Dreymala and Monika Tutt, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, Godparents and close friends.
