Obituary of Robert Patrick Jacob Sr.

Robert “Bobby” Patrick Jacob Sr, 84, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Dorothy Jacob; and brothers Henry and Jackie Jacob. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Debbie Jacob; son Robert Jacob Jr and wife, Nicole; daughters Stephanie Brock, Kristine Schoefer and husband, Thomas, Patty Chapman, Chamie Orsak and husband, Chris; brother James Jacob; sister Dorothy Mullen; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of many other family and friends.

Bobby was full of life. He had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed making people laugh, and never met a stranger. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army. He loved his family and friends dearly and cherished time spent with them. He was a wonderful provider for his family and enjoyed working as a theatrical teamster in the Union with the local 817 crew in New York and the local 51 crew in Houston, Texas. Over the years Bobby made numerous friends while working there. In his spare time, he loved to golf. Bobby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family is very thankful that Bobby knew the Lord and will be waiting for them in Heaven.

A visitation service will be held for Bobby on Thursday, September 22, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Services will also be held for Bobby on September 29^th and 30^th, in Maspeth, New York, at Papavero Funeral Home. The family requests that attendees wear festive clothing.
