Obituary of Beverly Kay Baker
Beverly Kay Baker was born November 12,1946 in Houston, Texas to Ralph and Gloria Arnett. She passed away while in hospice care on November 24,2022.
Known lovingly to her family as Kay, she was the eldest of 6 children. She was a loving, giving, and caring person. Kay graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1964. Following High School, she began a career in the oil and gas industry with Gulf Oil and eventually retired with LyondellBasell. Kay was an excellent cook, enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and was a great dancer. Above all else, being “Nanny" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren made her the happiest. Kay will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Gloria Arnett; son, Timothy Cujko; and grandson Vince Deageatire. Left to cherish Kay’s memory are her son, Charles “Charlie” Cujko; brothers, Charles Arnett, Ralph “RJ” Arnett (Debbie), Dennis Arnett, and Alan Arnett; sister, Sandy Heathcock (John); grandchildren, Rebecca Merino, Ariana Perez, Sophie Cujko, Danika Cujko, and Charlotte Cujko; great grandchildren, Isla Merino and Atlas Merino; and a host of many other dear family and friends.
