Obituary of Lynn Leo Irlmeier

Lynn Leo Irlmeier, 72, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Lucy Irlmeier. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Suki Irlmeier; son Matthew Irlmeier and wife, Renee; daughters Danielle Letherman and husband, Darell, Dawn Crandall and husband, Michael; and a host of other family and friends.

Lynn was a loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather who adored his family especially his grandbaby. He grew up on farms in Manning, Iowa and graduated from Manning High School.        Shortly after, Lynn joined to serve his country in the United States Army which he continued to serve for over 20 years.  After retirement as a Sergeant Major, Lynn was stationed in Korea and enjoyed the remaining of his government career overseas. In his spare time, Lynn loved to go fishing and enjoyed his quality time in Texas.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will truly be missed.

Services for Lynn will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 – 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at 1:45 pm, at the Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
