Obituary of Margie Marie Tingle

Please share a memory of Margie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Margie Marie Tingle passed away peacefully, surrounded by people she loved, on Friday, April 7th, 2023. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Sadie Ann (Shupak) Stepan, brother, Floyd Stepan; sister, Donna Page; and grandson Dennis Leal. Left to cherish Margie’s memory are her children, Cindy Johnston (Randy), Becky Tingle (Scott), Rene Wollney (Bert), Jack Tingle (Denise); sister, Linda Lutz (Terry); sister-in-law Judy Stepan; grandchildren, Danny Green (Sarah), Steve Musselman (Kimberly), Juris Green (Catherine), Samantha Ringleben, Jared Tingle (Pamela), Homer Leal (Jesse), Saydi Watson (Jon), Jeffrey Leal, Larissa Leal; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Trey, Sophie, Tyne, Wyatt, Jae, Cordelia, Roman, Catelynn, Peyton, Bethenny, Tatum, Kensington, Margie Rose, and soon to be Maisie Marie; her dear friend Sue and friends who always checked on her, Evelyn, Troy, Rose Mary; along with many other dearly loved family and friends.

Margie focused her life on her family. Everything she did, she would do for them. Whether it was working hard, playing hard, or just being there for the big moments. Recitals, graduations, birthdays, celebrations of all shapes and sizes, she wouldn’t miss them for the world. Just being there for her family was worth more to her than the biggest jackpot casinos have to offer. Margie was truly a selfless, loving, and caring matriarch for her family.

Margie, affectionately known as “Mimi” or “Maw Maw T” by her grandchildren, put down roots, and raised her family in Brookside Village, Texas. She worked for more than 25 years in the meat department at the Pearland Kroger #264 to support them. Over the years she gained the perfect number of family and friends in the Pearland area and made countless good memories with them. Margie enjoyed growing tomatoes in the spring, canning pickles in the summer, listening to Polka on the weekends, and taking a trip to the casino any time.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Margie on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at Clayton Funeral Home. (5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Tx 77581) Her family will be receiving guests from 10 to 11 am, with the Service commencing at 11:00 am.
