Virginia “Ginger” Ann Jenkins, 72, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents Roland and Doris Butler; loving husband Tommy “Bobby” Jenkins; son Darrell Chatham; and brothers Ronald and Marvin Butler. Virginia was extremely strong in her faith. She loved to study the Bible and share her faith with others. She cherished her family dearly and especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Ginger” to them. Cooking for her family was one of her passions. Some of her recipes continue to be family favorites. Virginia was extremely close to her “Grandma Bea”. She often shared her memories of visiting “Grandma Bea” watching her bake, and spending time with her. In Virginia’s spare time she attended church Bible studies and was a collector of Hummel figurines. Virginia was an “old soul” her entire life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
