Theodore Price, BSN, MSN Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Anesthesiology and Gerontology, Adjunct Professor, University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, Texas, was born January 9, 1936, in Lala Hill, Texas, and passed away May 4, 2023, in Houston, Texas.

Theodore moved with his family to California in 1952. He graduated from Redlands High School, Redlands, California in 1954. He graduated from San Bernardino Valley College in 1958. He was drafted by the United States Army in 1958, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant. Theodore graduated from the U.S. Army School of Anesthesiology, San Francisco, California in 1960. From 1960 to 1965 he served in Okinawa and Utah; he resigned commissioned as a Captain. From 1965 to 1969, Theodore had a private practice in California. In 1969, He moved to Texas where he had a private practice until 1983. In 1984 Theodore became a Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center, in Houston, Texas until his retirement. He held membership in American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, Telugu Association of North America, National Association of Gerontology, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Buena Price, one sister and two brothers. He is survived by three sons, two daughters, ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held for Theodore at 10:00am, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm gate time, at Houston National Cemetery, in Houston, Texas.
