There are many memories of the surprises you did for us. Sometimes it was just taking the extra time to do little things for us, other times you snuck in surprises like an edible fruit arrangements, etc. Son, you will be greatly missed. There is so much I should have told you. And I don't think I said "I love you" or hugged you nearly enough times.

Would always see Sam drive to and from work, passing by my house in his company trucks. Also saw him walk Ghost on occasion. He seemed very gentle and kind and his presence will be missed in our neighborhood. May he rest in peace.

I didn’t really know him but I do know that he was like brother to my dad and he was like family to my family. These photos were the ones that my dad had from when they were young.

Sammy,
Even though your gone, you're still here. The impact you made on those who knew you was one that could never be forgotten. You had a such a contagious sense about you. Stranger to none! You made YOU! Branding your name & company everywhere.
I read through the prompts given to see what they offered, picking ONE was impossible. So I choose a few.
Your favorite breakfast was Waffles & PB. Although you were far from picky, making it easy to cook something up or grab something & bring to the house for you to enjoy.
Ghost is going to miss you ,but Wrenchie finally has you back so now you 2 can build your Sam the Plumber in the sky. When it rains I have no doubt you'll be the first one called to fix the pipes up & help clear the sky so the sun can shine again.
Picking one memory to never forget isn't possible there's soo many. Like the day we finally decided it was time I learned how to ride a bike! (I wish I could post the video , you looked like a dad teaching his kids how to ride a bike without training wheels lol & we found out just how fast you could run!) Or the video of how in awe you were at Thanksgiving when your mom played the piano for us! And then Christmas dinner at your parents house. How excited you were when you got your first Zx1400r!! When we would race down 1128. How we handed out Halloween candy & decided to start handing mini STP flashlights to the kids in neighborhood with their candy! And how you had that train air horn thought it would hilarious to blow it the garage door. I'll never forget how you were always just a message or call away. Never did I think that meeting someone at the Texas Best Detail & going to eat at Gringos would bring an 11 year friendship that ended too soon. You were an awesome person with a heart that was the size of Texas. I hope you stay golden pony boy! Fore you will forever live on in all of our memories ,
Love you Sammy...
Forever your friend , Leanne

How sorely missed you will be, by many on this earth. I know that you are no longer feeling the pains of this world and are in the hands of the most loving God. You were one of the very rare few that not only would have a conversation with me about our likeminded beliefs but I have to know in my heart that you were as genuine as they come with it. This gives me a peace that surpasses this earthly tragic loss.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing."
To the honored and blessed Mr. and Mrs. Poage,
Your son was truly a man of unique qualities. He was able to love by definition the unlovable, the believers and non, capture the hearts of the troubled and with his positive uplifting attitude and words, make the most emotionally bankrupt people feel like they were somebody. He reeked of hope and even on his worse day, he would somehow at some point, still have a reason to be thankful and smile.
He didn't judge and was kind to every person he met. What made him so beautiful was that he would be kind even when it was not reciprocated. A beautiful soul that I know you are faithful in knowing you will have your baby back again.
I'm terribly sorry for your loss. He loved both of you with the deepest of love and spoke of you daily. He worried and didn't all at the same time. I was privileged to be able to call him a friend and I only can count those on one hand. I love you and love him forever more. Thank you for being the people you are and raising such a great man.

Sammy was my little Freshman I took under my wing in high school. Fond memories of parking my parent's Suburban in front of the school and then Sammy and I would go to Robert's for lunch. Sammy was a fun, unique soul and a good friend. He will be greatly missed.

Sam I want to say even though we didn't talk as much as we did in school. It was nice running into you in certain times of our life's because of our trade . You've done me favors and vice versa . Funny I can still see you as the kid in school. What they say is true it's not someone just saying nice things because your not here anymore . You did have a great spirit a loving heart and a kind soul . Some thing people take for granted these days . This world was no longer needing that love anymore and I'm sure even though a good man this world got you down at times alot of times. But you didn't leave us . God saw and knew you gave your all and he was needing you back where you came from. He needed you to come back home and stand by him . People like you don't come around to much and it was a blessing knowing you the real you . I will see u again one day buddy until the lord needs me don't worry I will unstop the sewers toilets put in the water heaters fix the leaks and keep it running down here .
REST IN PEACE BROTHER U DESERVE IT !
