Alex was a friendly, caring, church-going person.  In his spare time, he loved gambling whether it was in Louisiana or the local game rooms.  He loved music, listening and dancing to Zydeco, Mariachi and good ole’ Tejano music.  Alex enjoyed telling stories about his childhood and the “good old” days back in Wharton and Edna.  He made friends easily wherever he went.  Alex adored his grandchildren; he enjoyed time spent playing with them and watching them play sports.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who never missed watching their games!!!  He also enjoyed watching Old Western movies and Yellowstone! Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
