Obituary of Jose Andres Almazan

Please share a memory of Jose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jose Andres Almazan 25, tragically passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Andrew Anthony Almazan and Adrian Alfredo Almazan; his wife Victoria Garza; mother America Gonzalez and Stepfather Joe Gonzalez; his father Jose Luis Almazan; brother Joshua Almazan; sisters Melissa and Leilani Almazan; grandparents Ruperto and Amparo Pedroza and Jose and Juana Almazan; parents-in-laws Alfredo and Veronica Barrera III, and sisters and brothers-in-laws.

Our beloved Jose was a hard worker, and protector of his family and friends. He was loyal, giving, and had the biggest heart. Jose made sure to tell you he loved you every time he saw you. That was him. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and go out of his way for the people he loved and cared for. He had the best sense of humor, and his contagious smile would light up any room he entered. He always liked looking his best and had quite the collection of Astros hats and all types of shoes. There was no job big or hard enough for him to do since everything was easy for him; his famous saying was “It’s easy”. Most importantly, Jose’s favorite thing in the world was being a father. His boys were his everything, and he loved spending time with his sons. In his spare time, he enjoyed hosting barbecues, going fishing, and being with his family. Jose will be greatly and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
