Obituary of Armando Francisco Vazquez Diaz

Armando Francisco Vazquez Diaz, 34, tragically passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Francisco Vazquez and Annie Diaz; brothers, Francisco Javier Vazquez Diaz and Christian Francisco Vazquez Diaz; sister, Anna Christina Vazquez Diaz; and numerous other family and friends.

Armando was a loving son, brother, and grandson who loved the Lord and cherished his family above all else. He took great joy in supporting them with love and a well-timed joke. Wherever he went, Armando looked for opportunities to help those around him and wanted to make the world a better place. Driven by loyalty and a commitment to make a lasting impact, Armando proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an adept outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hiking, grilling, and spending time in the open air or under a star-filled sky. Armando was highly intelligent and a voracious reader who studied a great variety of topics. He was a natural academic who excelled in his college classes. Armando had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a beaming smile on his face that could light up any room with joy. He was a comedian since birth whose unmistakable, infectious laugh could be heard from a mile away. Armando will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services for Armando will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. The interment will take place at the Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 12:45 p.m.
