Cecilia Ingrid Edwards-Thompson, 65, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Martina Edwards. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Reginald Thompson; brothers Stephan Etienne, Eric Edwards, Anthony Edwards; sisters Gloria Bernard, Camella Edwards, Josette Edwards, Karen Lamotta, and many other family and friends.

Cecilia was a selfless, loving soul who always went out of her way to help others. She adored children even though she never had any of her own. Cecilia enjoyed a successful career as a certified nursing assistant and she loved working at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she was employed for 16 years. Cecilia had a very bubbly personality and could also be extremely silly. She loved listening to music, especially Soca and Reggae. In her spare time Cecilia was quite a shopaholic, however she was also a very giving person who would give you the shirt off her back. Cecilia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Cecilia will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. The visitation is scheduled from 9:00 – 10:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 am.
