Obituary of Randall Ray Harris

Please share a memory of Randall to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Randall Ray Harris, 80, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Howard and Dorothy Harris. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Janie Harris; son Clayton Harris and wife, Stefani;  grandchild Bella; stepdaughters Amy Spence and husband, Joel, Laura Savage and husband, Michael; brother Michael Harris; sister Sandra Harris; step grandchildren Evan, Lucas, Sarah, Steven, and a host of many other family and friends.

Randall was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family and adored loving on his yorkies, Lusy and Laci. He truly had a servant’s heart and enjoyed a successful career serving his country, as a Lt. Colonel, in the United States Marine Corps. Randall was always thinking of others before himself and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Fitness and a healthy lifestyle were extremely important to him, and he enjoyed running marathons for many years. He also rode his bike up until he was 70. In his spare time, Randall loved to go dancing, and that is how he met his wife. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a big jokester and funny guy. Randall will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service for Randall will be held at 2:00 pm, on January 13, 2024, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
