To my good, good friend, Diane who I miss deeply. You always lightened my load and made me laugh. I so appreciated that. You were the mother of TERA and held “family reunions” disguised as conferences for 30 years. You taught me to be a better person, how to use silly string, how to work as part of a team, how to step up into leadership roles, and how to be a real friend. You embodied hope, love, friendship, and loyalty. Because once someone was your friend, they were always your friend. When I wear tie-dye, I will think of you! When I wear Wizard of Oz. I will think of you! When I grab a can of silly string. I will really think of you! You’re with me in my heart every day, and I am standing side-by-side with our fellow family members and friends who are dedicated to carrying on your legacy of fun, friendship and love. May you find peace now. All my love, Jana

Thank you, Diane,
For all the support, love and laughter you generously gave to me and my family.
You were there when I accepted the position at my favorite job of all time. I loved it for two reasons: one, I loved teaching in nature, and two, you came with the job.
You were there for the greatest camping trips ever,
You were there for the greatest road trips ever.
You were there for all the times that I needed someone to listen to me, or to encourage me, or to tell me to quit whining and be strong.
You were there to teach me what it means to be the very best kind of friend.
You were there to teach me true courage and determination.
And now, you are there, in my mind and in my heart still listening to me, still encouraging me, and still reminding me to be strong.

I met Diane through my mom Pam Chamberlain. We had soo many wonderful memories with her including camping, going to Six Flags and just spending quality time together. One memory that stands out is when we would go to Six Flags and right before the roller coasters would take off, she would scream Soo loud that everyone around us would look and be like what is going on. All of a sudden, Diane would just start laughing and laughing like it was just a normal day.

Diane, you were my best friend. You brought so much happiness and laughter to my life. Thank you for all the joy you gave and the precious memories you left behind for me to cherish. I will miss your calls, texts and cards filled with confetti. Johnnie always told me to be careful opening the cards because he shook them. I will miss you every day. I love you my "sister" friend. May you rest in Peace in God's Beautiful Heaven.

Sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “ Jesus plainly told her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25.

I met Diane through her sister Debbie. When Diane became ill I did not want always send get well cards. Not able to find positive genetic cards I chose to send funny birthday cards. I hit a home run because she loved them and it brought a smile to her face. She did prefer the cats to my calling and singing happy birthday to her. Ha. God blessed me with her friendship and I will miss her . I am grateful God shared her with me if only for a sort time. She has a seat at his table.
