Obituary of Donald McCauley

Donald "Don" McCauley, a resident of Pearland, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 in Kinder, Louisiana, at the age of 44 years. Don was born July 21, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph Raymond and Mary Joan (Bradley) McCauley. He owned and operated the Don McCauley Glass Co., serving Pearland and surrounding communities for 20 years. Don was a member of the Pearland/Hobby Area Chamber of Commerce. An avid golfer and fisherman, Don is survived by a loving family; his beloved wife of 24 years, Sonia; two children, Steven Joyce and his wife, Tracey and Crystal Wiggins and her husband, Jason; seven grandchildren, Travis and Preston Wiggins, John and Jeff Dever, and Courtney, Daniel and Bobby Aschenbach; brothers and sisters, Gary McCauley, Jim McCauley and his wife, Timmi, Judy Clark and her husband, Dennis, Maria Maloney and her husband, George, Claire Connolly and her husband, Art, and Randy McCauley and his wife, Carrie; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2007, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, in Pearland. A celebration of Donís life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2007, in the chapel of Clayton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery, in Pearland. Those serving as pallbearers are; Terry Matelski, Tommy Matelski, Benny Thomas, Greg Clutter, Bill Hull, Rick Swanson and Big Mike Siegeler.
