Obituary of Pepito De Leon Lomboy

Pepito De Leon Lomboy passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lupe and Lorenza Lomboy; brothers, Federico Lomboy and Juanito Lomboy; sisters, Virginia Gomez, Trinidad Lim, Petronila Matabang, and Juanita Alviar. Left to cherish Pepito’s memory are his loving wife, Erlinda Lomboy; daughters, Arminda Tandoc and husband Christopher, Odessa Calimlim and husband Jonathan, Rachel Lomboy, and Diana Tiongson and husband Christian; brother, Rodolfo Lomboy; sisters, Purita Casaul, Carmelita Lomboy, and Harlika Moises; grandchildren, Camille Calimlim, Kobe Calimlim, Angelica Calimlim, Matthew Tiongson, Mary Ysabelle Tiongson, and Mary Anne Tiongson; along with a host of other family and friends.

Pepito was a loving, generous, kind, and patient husband, and father. He was a humble and simple man of few words but was loved by many for his selfless nature. Pepito was a wonderful provider for his wife and children, earning the affectionate title of “sugar grandpa”. Making others happy brought Pepito much joy throughout his life. He also found joy in listening to good music, watching movies, eating good food, and visiting new places. His funny, joyful, and gracious personality will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services for Pepito will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. (5530 W. Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581) A Visitation will be held on the evening of Friday, March 29, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held the following day, Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 10:00 am.
