Obituary of Victor Trabulsi Dargence

In loving memory of Victor Trabulsi Dargence, who peacefully passed away in Houston, Texas, on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at the age of 89. Victor's journey began on August 13, 1934, in Mexico, where he was born to his beloved parents, Fuad and Guadalupe (Dargence) Trabulsi.

Victor's life was a testament to resilience, love, and the joy of simple pleasures. In 1968, he made the courageous decision to immigrate to the United States alongside his cherished wife, Rosa (Salazar) Trabulsi, and their sons, Victor Trabulsi and Alfonso Trabulsi. Together, they settled in the vibrant community of Houston, Texas, where they later had a daughter Monica Trabulsi. Victor found solace and joy in the tranquility of water, whether it be the refreshing embrace of a pool or the vast expanse of the ocean. Sundays were sacred in Victor's household, where the excitement of football, particularly the Oilers then later the Texans, brought the family together in celebration. One of Victor's greatest joys was cooking for his family, ensuring there was always an abundance of food to share and savor. His culinary creations were infused with herbs from his beloved garden, a testament to his dedication to providing his loved ones with the very best.

Beyond the kitchen, Victor found solace in the pages of books, and his enthusiasm for fine wines.  Above all, Victor cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren, Jacob, Seth, and Tiffany, and great-grandchild Aubree. His presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations to come. Though Victor may have departed from this world, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will forever be cherished and celebrated.

In honoring Victor's memory, let us take solace in the joy he brought into our lives and carry forward his legacy of love and generosity. Rest in peace, dear Victor.
