My first personal experience meeting David was when my son Jesse was baptized and he was our deacon. There was something different about this man, his mannerisms, his gentle voice, his calming presence. As the years passed and I became more active in our church, I got to first hand witness who David was. I saw over and over again the core of who he was, a strong Christian man that all men should strive to be. He loved the Lord even when life dealt him a crushing blow. I love the way he loved his beautiful wife and his family. Though we didn’t hang out as friends so to speak, he still impacted my life probably more than he knew. Dale I love you and will keep y’all in my prayers.

Mr David and Mrs Dale were always the example of the Christian couple that I wanted to be. Always loving, always seeking God, not perfect, but trying. Mr David was an amazing stand in for a missing father in my children's lives. I will always remember him with love. And he had an awesome Tarzan yell!
