Obituary of Roberto "Bobby" Rodriguez

Roberto “Bobby” Rodriguez passed away at his home in Richmond, Texas, on Friday, May 24^th, 2024, at the age of 68. Left to cherish Bobby’s memory are his wife of 16 years, Rebecca Rodriguez; parents, Roberto and Beverly Rodriguez; son, Christopher Jones; daughters, Carolina Weiss and husband Travis, Gabriela West and husband Brad, Andrea Boesen and husband Matt; brothers, William Rodriguez and wife Anabell, David Rodriguez and wife Pily, Jose Rodriguez and wife Cynthia, Douglas Rodriguez and wife Aida, Daniel Rodriguez and wife Mari; five grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends.

Bobby was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. He had a great sense of humor and was well known for his joke and story telling ability. Music was a big part of Bobby’s life. He enjoyed listening, dancing, and even playing music on his guitar. Always up for a new adventure, Bobby liked to travel to new places, try new foods, go sailing, and was a licensed pilot who loved to fly. He also enjoyed playing Tennis, Rugby, and swimming. Bobby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A Memorial Service for Bobby will be held on Saturday, June 1^st, 2024, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. (5530 Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581) Bobby’s family will receive guests from 9:00 to 10:00 am, with the Memorial service commencing at 10:00 am, with Pastor Jon Salminen presiding.
