Obituary of William "Bill" Francis Brashier

William “Bill” Francis Brashier passed away peacefully at home in the comforting presence of his family on June 18^th, 2024, at the age of 93. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Ben Alex and Ava Josephine (Daniel) Brashier; two wives, Billie Brashier and Johnnie Brashier; sons, Michael Brashier and Gary Brashier; brothers, Hal Brashier, Ben Brashier Jr, Jack Brashier, Bob Brashier, Tom Brashier, and Joe Brashier; sisters, Gladys Neal and Sybil Fleming; and grandson Timothy Fregia. Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his son, Wayne Brashier and wife Janice; daughters, Frances Fregia, Jody Alley and husband David; grandchildren, Jeremy Fregia, Elizabeth Cowher and husband Sean, Meredith Brashier, Sandra McNeely and husband Cody, Bridgette Fitch and husband Dustin, and Haley Alley; seven great grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends.

Bill was a strong minded and strong-willed man who wasn’t afraid of hard work and was an excellent provider for his family. For over 40 years Bill owned, operated, and repaired Drag lines. He was truly a successful business owner. Bill was active in his church throughout his life and was very strong in his faith. In his retirement Bill and Johnnie enjoyed traveling, even if that meant just going on short trips to the doctor, the store, church, or anywhere to get out of the house. Bill also loved to attend family gatherings and play Dominoes each Thursday. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Bill will be held on Wednesday, June 26^th, 2024, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. (5530 Broadway St, Pearland, Texas 77581) Bill’s family will receive guests from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with the service commencing at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Daily officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Park East cemetery in Webster, Texas.
