Al was a wonderful man to work for. He genuinely cared about his employees and treated us all like family. Even during very rocky economic times, he kept us all working, which was no small sacrifice. I’ll never forget the kindness and respect he showed us all. He will truly be missed.

Al - You were my employer, mentor, business partner, confidant, and a good friend.
I will always remember the things you taught me through your stalwart service to the City of Pearland, Brazoria Drainage District No. 4, Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District, Brazoria County, and Lentz Engineering.
Rest well. You have earned it.
Jarrod

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr Lentz for some 17 years, he would come into the pharmacy where I work and playfully tease me. Every time he’d come in I’d say “here comes trouble” and when he didn’t see me he’d ask “where’s that little one at.” I soon just started calling him trouble and he was quick to respond. I’m going to greatly miss him. To his family and especially Mrs Lentz my heart, thoughts, and prayers to you. He was a great Man that won’t be forgotten. I will continue to think of “Trouble” with a smile. Rest easy Trouble.
