Fidelia Rose Meadors, lovingly known as Pinky, passed away peacefully @ 6:06 am on July 16, 2024 in Richardson, Texas, at the age of 81. Pinky was born on December 1, 1942, in Los Angeles, California, to Marion David Donovan and Phoebe Juanita Wheatley. Pinky lived a full and vibrant life filled with love, adventure, and remarkable achievements.

 

Pinky is survived by her devoted husband of 57 yrs.(Lawson Thomas Meadors).

And, she is also remembered by her lovingly sister, Jacqueline Maxine Donovan, (married to Jennifer Berger). She is predeceased by brothers, (Carlos) Charles Roberto Donovan, and Marion David Donovan Jr.

 

Pinky was the proud mother of three daughters:

Katheryn Lynn Shirley (married to Jeffrey Shirley), Suzan Lynn Deason (married to Tim Deason), and Cindy Hofmann (married to Gunther Hofmann). Her legacy continues through her cherished 11 grandchildren: Kyle Tillman (married to Candice Tillman), Samuel Shirley, Luke Shirley, Paul Denis Shirley, Julia Olena Leura (married to Raul Leura), Courtney Cullison, Derick Deason,(married to Tania Deason),Shondra Deason Durbin (married to Danny Durbin), Tyler Deason,(married to Cheyenne Shaw Deason), Zachery Bargerstock & Nicholas Hofmann.

 

Pinky was also blessed with 8 great-grandchildren: Axel Tillman, Norah Tillman, Emma Deason, Aaron Deason, Easton Durbin, Paislee Durbin, Holden Deason, and Haidyn Deason .

 

Pinky was a licensed Real Estate Agent since 1970.

Pinky made her mark in the real estate industry, working for Helen Guillory Realtors, Keller Williams, and Assist 2 Sell. Pinky’s dedication and expertise earned her a place in the Millionaire Club for Realtors.

 

Pinky’s entrepreneur spirit lead her to developed and managed a 100 run Dog Kennel called Pooch Pad Country Kennel in Pearland, Texas, from 1979 to 1988.

 

Pinky was a proud registered member of the Cherokee Nation and held a headright with the Osage Nation.

 

Pinky had a passion for travel, visiting Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, most of the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean Islands. She also enjoyed spending time at the casino, where she found joy and excitement.

 

Pinky was strong in her faith, and truly loved the Lord! Pinky and her husband Lawson Thomas Meadors were members of New Hope Church for over 23 years.

 

A celebration of Pinky's life will be held at New Hope Church

3350 Manvel Rd Pearland, TX, 77584 on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM.

 

Pinky’s family invites all who knew and loved her to join in remembering her remarkable life and the many ways she touched the hearts of those around her and the great love she had for her family.

A reception will follow the funeral service.
