Obituary of Titilayo Asani Ogunpitan
Titilayo Asani Ogunpitan passed away in Houston, Texas, on August 26, 2024, at the age of 71. She is preceded in death by her father, Hassan Yusuf; husband; George Ademola Ogunpitan; and brother, Olalekan Yusuf. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Musillimotu Lasisi; sons, Omodayo Ogunpitan and wife Temitope, George Ogunpitan and wife Simisola, Oluwaseye Ogunpitan, Oluwatosin Ogunpitan and wife Modupe; daughter, Adeola Adepoju and husband Abiodun; brothers, Semiu Yusuf and Hakeem Yusuf; sisters, Risikat and Shadia; grandchildren, Oluwatemisola, Oluwatemisire, Reece, Ryan, Mary Ann, Ayokuleyin, Olasile, Anjolaoluwa, Moredeke, Ethan, Oluwaseun, Susan, and Henry; and a host of many other family members and friends.
Titilayo was a very kind, gentle, humble, resourceful and caring soul. Although she was a quiet person on the outside, her mental resilience was unparalleled. She enjoyed talking to people while spreading the gospel of Jehovah’s Kingdom. Titilayo was always very compassionate towards others and checking in on her family members’ well-being. She loved serving the Lord as a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and studying the bible. Titilayo’ children and grandchildren are very important part of her life, and she was always fond of them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Services for Titilayo will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with the service commencing at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Houston Memorial Gardens.
