Obituary of Linda Sandoval
Linda Sandoval returned to her source on September 22, 2024. She was born to Charles Sandoval Jr. and Betty Jo Elizabeth Clifton. Linda was preceded in death by both parents and her brother Charles Sandoval III. She married the love of her life, Melissa, on March 29, 2017.
Left to cherish Linda’s memories are her spouse, Melissa Martinez; son, Casey Stone (Kendra); sisters Sharon Green, Becky Sandoval Alonso (Samuel), Darline Quiles (Jose); granddaughter Madison Lynn Stuart; Aunt Margie and Uncle Henry from Sacramento, CA; mother-in-law, Mercy Martinez; fur baby Peanut Butter; extended family whom she loved like sisters; Valerie Rodriguez, Maribel Chavez, Gracie and Jenny Brewer-Trevino, Ruby Acevedo, Paula Cantu, Pam Juarez and Emily Castro, along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Linda played sports when she was young. She loved music, watching sports and going to different sporting events. Linda also loved to travel and was a foodie! She relished trying new restaurants, cooking shows, trying new recipes.
Prior to her medical retirement, Linda worked as a software engineer supporting the election department of Harris County. She continued her love of politics and had spent the last several months educating everyone everywhere about the upcoming election and urging people to register to vote!
Linda was a kind and loving person with a generous soul. She had a gift for listening to others, never judging and always counseled if needed. She was fearless and never let fear stop her from experiencing life to the fullest.
Her happy place was the beach or ocean. Linda was known to always wear her favorite… shorts and flip flops! She adored learning about her connection with God and with life which leads to how important family and friends were to her. Both were always welcomed into her home. Her fur babies, Peanut, Kirby and Delilah held a special place in her heart. Linda will certainly be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Linda’s family will be holding a celebration of life on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Clayton Funeral Home 5530 W. Broadway Pearland, TX 77581, beginning at 2:00. Linda’s favorite color was green, so the family requests guests wear their favorite green clothing in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Linda’s name to American Kidney Fund, or planting a tree in her memory.
