Obituary of David L. "Cotton" Couch
David L. “Cotton” Couch passed away Friday October 11, 2024, he was preceded in death by his parents Sidney A. "Sid" and Thelma Clarice Allen Couch, and son Chad Allen Couch. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Debra Ann "Debbie", his son Andrew "Andy" Couch, brother Thomas Wayne "Butch" Couch, and grandchildren, Carson Allen Couch and Alisyn Grace Couch, and their mother Amanda Couch, along with a host of other family and friends.
Cotton served his country in the US Marine Corps. After Serving his country, he worked in several different fields such as a truck driver, Iron worker, NASA, and Tugboats, before pursing his lifelong dream of ranching. He bought his first cow in 1989 and built his herd to 500 head of cattle.
Cotton loved the Rodeo and was a Saddle Bronc Rider and Bull rider. He was an avid horseman and had a soft spot in his heart for animals. He loved going to his Ranch and hanging around with his sons and especially his two grandchildren, who absolutely loved the Ranch. Cotton will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday October 17, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Clayton Funeral Home 201 S 3rd Street La Porte, Texas.
