Frederick Galen Kithcart, 59, of Manvel, TX passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 11, 2024, in Houston, TX.

He was a patriot and a proud veteran having served 10 years in the Army before he was honorably discharged.  After leaving the service, his primary profession was as a commercial truck driver.  Throughout the 30+ years of driving, he had some great stories about what he had seen and experienced while out on the road.

He enjoyed quiet times at home with the wiener dogs, often spent his time getting lost in one of the many books he enjoyed reading.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Abby, to tropical islands, especially St. Lucia.  He was an advanced open water scuba diver with many specialty certifications.  He liked an occasional trip to the casinos to play his favorite buffalo slot machine or a hand of blackjack. He also enjoyed fishing and in his younger years deer hunting on the farm.

Fred is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Abby Chapple Keithcart and  the daughter of his heart Ashley Ann McFaul.  Also surviving are his mother Rose Ann Urstadt and father Roy Kithcart Jr., nieces Valarie and Alexis and nephews Galen “G”, Dakota and Jessie, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Fred is preceded in death by his brother, Harold “Bear” Kithcart and nephew Harold “Cubby” Kithcart.
