He loved to sing karaoke with his children and grandchildren and instilled in them a love for music and singing. He also enjoyed chatting with his siblings and old friends about growing up in upstate New York and about his parents and how much he missed them. He loved his family and often spoke about them. He was a very proud grandfather to his grandsons and was very excited about the birth of his first granddaughter, of whom he was just shy of meeting. He loved his dog, Cosette, and often commented on how much joy she brought him. He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor, and he loved to laugh. His loud, boisterous laughter would fill any room he was in.

“The song is ended, but the melody lingers on”. -Irving Berlin
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through God’s mercy and love, rest in peace. Amen.
And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I’ll say it clear
I’ll state my case, of which I’m certain
I’ve lived a life that’s full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way. -Frank Sinatra
