Blanche was one of the kindest persons I have ever met. She never offered anything less than encouragement to anyone. She served her family faithfully and loved generously. I was blessed to have had her influence in my life. I plan to make some angel biscuits in her honor, as hers were the best anyone could ever have the privilege of consuming. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Nothing could be closer to the truth, and Blanche is today in her forever home, probably making biscuits for all the angels. Praying for her family in their loss.

Q: What will you never forget about Billie?
A: I will forever remember the many vacations we spent with Aunt Blanche, Uncle Bill and my cousins. There was always a lot of laughter, games to play and great food. Aunt Blanche had an infectious laugh and always made us feel so special. I will always cherish these wonderful memories we shared together.

I find myself at a loss for where to begin, other than with a heartfelt thank you for a lifetime of cherished memories. Even though I was your niece, you always treated me as if I were your own child. You consistently offered a sanctuary to me when I needed it, welcoming me with open arms, understanding, and grace.
I fondly recall those Saturday night wrestling events at your home with Uncle Bill and Kim. You always ensured we were well-stocked with snacks and, of course, a "Doctor" for refreshment! We shared countless game nights, cooking sessions (where you made everything from scratch, often recruiting Kim and me to "help," or so you kindly said), bible studies, and so many other wonderful activities.
As a young adult, you guided me through the complexities of my relationship with Fred, offering not judgment, but a willing ear, a compassionate heart, a comforting hug, and a soft whisper that reassured me I was loved and forever a part of the family.
I am grateful for the years we had where I could visit you in person, share meals, and catch up on life! Our conversations would flow as if we had just spoken the previous month.
Your presence has left an indelible mark on more lives than you could have imagined. While I trust you're rejoicing in heaven alongside Jesus, Uncle Bill, and your parents, your absence leaves a profound void in many hearts. Whether or not Dr. Pepper is served where you are, enjoy it often, and keep a few on hand to share.
Until we meet again, I love you.
