Marjorie Knight Heathcock passed away on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, in Pearland, Texas, at the age of 93. She is preceded in death by her parents, James C. Knight and Lottie (Jones) Knight; husband, Leonard E. Heathcock; son, Ralph Heathcock; daughter, Marlene Roach and son-in-law, Roger Roach; brothers, James Knight and Ralph Knight; sister, Ruth Hall; and great grandchild, Nova. Left to cherish Marjorie’s memory are her sons, John Heathcock and wife Sandy, and James Heathcock; daughters, Belinda Griffith and Barbara Dunlap; grandchildren, Laura, Jeff, John, Bobbie, Sheila, Kimberly, and Christopher; sixteen great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends.

Marjorie was a dedicated and hardworking wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially cooking for them. Marjorie held a special place in her heart for animals as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Marjorie will be held at Clayton Funeral Home in Pearland, Texas, on Friday, February 28th, 2025. Her family will receive guests during a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the funeral service commencing at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place on Monday, March 4th, 2025, at Perdido Baptist Church Cemetery, in Perdido, Alabama.
