Obituary of Clark Byron Jordan

Please share a memory of Clark to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Clark Byron Jordan, Sr., 78, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 16, 1946, in Houston, Texas to Irene Theresa Frankovsky and Clark Clyde Jordan. Clark grew up in Houston where he attended Austin High School. He chose a career in the railroad industry where he worked for Houston Belt & Terminal as a railroad engineer for 33 years before retiring, so that he could fully enjoy his family, fishing, hot rods, and hunting. Clark married the love of his life Paula on August 22, 1969, and together they shared a wonderful family.

Clark’s fondest memories were spending time with family in Sargent, Texas where he and Paula built a home after retirement. When Clark wasn’t spending time in the great outdoors, you were sure to find him behind the wheel of a hot rod or at a swap meet.

He had a passion for old cars, and you could always find him tinkering in the garage.

Clark will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is now reunited with his parents Irene and Clark, brother Robert, and his wife and soulmate Paula.

Clark is survived by his three children Kimberly Kay Cooke, Clark Byron Jordan, Jr. and wife Heather, Jennifer Jordan Achor and husband Tim; grandchildren Kathleen Crook and husband Matt, Caroline Lorenz and husband Dylan, Chloe and Camie Jordan, Ava and Sophia Barcelo, and Aspen Achor; great grandchildren Kyle, Cori and Clark Crook;

brother Jack Jordan and wife Karol, sister Susan Brader and husband Luke, brother Don Jordan and wife Cindy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He always had a rod or a rifle in his hand.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 27 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM, 6109 Gardenia in Pearland, Texas.

Please come in your hot rod with a story to share or a fond memory as we celebrate the life of Clark.
