I was truly saddened to hear of Leo’s passing.
Though I only met him a few times, Leo left a lasting impression — always kind, genuine, and ever gracious in conversation. Leo always seemed to be happy and warm.
Especially meaningful to me was the bond he shared with my friend, Chris (his son-in-law). Leo was something special, and it was clear how deeply he cared for those around him.
He seemed like the kind of gentle man who quietly made everything better for those around him.
My heart goes out to his family and all who loved him.

We came to visit one year for Thanksgiving, I was 9-10 years old. Uncle Leo came to my Aunt Yvonne's house when he came in he said give me a hug, I quickly responded I don't hug strangers. He laughed and said I'm not a stranger I'm your uncle, I looked at my mom and asked if he was really my uncle, she shook her head and said of course he is. Another time we came to visit, this time I was 18 just graduated high school and he was looking at the hair on my arms, he said there is no way your a Loza you don't have enough hair on your arms, you must have been adopted. He laughed so hard and so did I. He sure had a knack of picking on me and making me laugh all at the same time. Fly high Uncle you will truly be missed.
