Obituary of Eric Paul Jorgensen

Eric Paul Jorgensen, 63, of Friendswood, TX peacefully passed away on June 11, 2025. Eric was born in Texas City, TX on June 20, 1961, and graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1979.

Eric was a loving husband to his wife Christine, for 43 years, and a devoted father to his children Rachel Socie and Sarah Kimbrough. He was a proud employee of ExxonMobil Pipeline for 37 years. Eric enjoyed playing golf, softball, and keeping up with his garden. His hobbies also included being an avid memorabilia dealer and collector.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents Neils Jorgensen and Carmen Thomas as well as his sister Penny Jorgensen. He is survived by his wife Christine Jorgensen; his children Rachel Socie and husband Adam, Sarah Kimbrough and husband Matt; and his granddaughters Aubrey Socie, Laura Socie, Hazel Kimbrough, and Mattie Kimbrough; brother Tim Jorgensen and sister Terry Antwine; along with a host of many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Clayton Funeral Home (201 South 3^rd St. LaPorte, TX 77571) on Monday June 16^th, 2025, at 10am. Funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will take place at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery (7301 Memorial Drive, Hitchcock TX 77563) at 2 pm.
