Obituary of William James Sakwitz Sr.
William James Sakwitz, Sr. was born in Tokyo, Japan on October 10, 1959 to Assemblies of God missionary parents, William H. Sakwitz and Birdena M. Sakwitz, and went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2025. He passed away at home, surrounded by loving family.
He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and aunts. He leaves behind his mother, Birdena Sakwitz; his wife of 31 years, Christine Sakwitz; children William James Sakwitz, Jr. and wife Lauren; Isabella Joy Sakwitz; and Micah Joel Sakwitz; and his sisters Marilee Coleman and husband Tod and DeAnne Sakwitz.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Legacy Church at 12410 Sugar Dale Drive, Stafford, TX 77477 at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7th.
