Obituary of Rangel Jr.

Alfredo Gamez Rangel Jr., 62, passed away on June 12, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Trinidad Rangel. Alfredo is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Theresa; sons, Alfred Rangel III and his wife, Melissa, Johnny Rangel, Joseph Rangel, Sabino Rangel, Jacob Gonzales and his wife, Amber, Abraham Rangel and his wife Rosario; daughters, Eyvette Baldwin and her husband, Daniel, Elizabeth Rodriguez; sisters, Sarah Agudelo and her husband, Juan, and Francisca Flores; grandchildren, Sabino Jr., Priscilla, Bethany, Jesse, Christopher, Sonya, Torrie, Allison, Jesse Jr., Omar, Atlee, and Adree; and a host of many other family and friends. Alfredo was a man of strong faith and served as a Deacon of his church. He loved to travel in his car and see all the different parts of the country. Alfredo loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and also tending to his flower garden and taking care of his roses. He had an appreciation for nature and enjoyed photography and collecting old cameras. He was affectionately known to everyone at Big Daddy Rangel. Alfredo will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Alfredo will be on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 7:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, TX 77581. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 10:00 am at Templo Bethania, 6711 Isla St., Brookside Village, TX 77581 with Rev. Richard Esparza officiating.
